SPAC actively participates in the "Walk to Washington" - a special train ride organized by the NJ Chamber of Commerce which takes legislators, interest groups and businesses on a journey to Washington DC. It’s called the “Walk to Washington” because most people are walking up and down the train for the duration of the trip, talking to legislators about their concerns. It culminates with a Congressional Dinner in the evening. The train ride provides a great opportunity for SPAC members to talk to legislators about important issues, specifically issues concerning women, children and the environment. SPAC also takes advantage of being in Washington DC to meet with NJ Representatives. Find out more about SPAC at jlnjspac.org
