About Us

What is the Junior League of Morristown, Inc. (JLM)? We are an organization of women committed to:
  • Promoting voluntarism
  • Developing the potential of women
  • Improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers
Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.  The JLM reaches out to women of all ages, races, religious and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism.

  • Founded in 1936
  • Member of the Association of Junior Leagues International (ajli.org)
  • One of eight Junior Leagues in New Jersey, and one of 296 Junior Leagues globally
  • Currently there are over 300 members in the JLM, representing Morris, Somerset, Hunterdon, and Sussex counties
  • In the past five years the league has supported projects relating to self-esteem in young girls, senior companionship, caregiver appreciation, women transitioning from homelessness and children’s nutrition education among others
  • Our community projects focus on improving the lives of women and children at risk in the Morris county area
