The Junior League of Morristown, Inc.
(JLM) will sponsor its 11th annual “Lunch with the Authors” on Friday May 11,
from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, New
Jersey.

Laura Dave
Laura
Dave is the author of The First Husband, The Divorce Party and London Is the
Best City in America. She has contributed
to The New York Times, The Huffington Post, Redbook, Glamour, Self, and NPR’s
All Things Considered. She attended The University of
Pennsylvania, where she graduated with a BA in English, and The University of
Virginia, where she earned her MFA. While in school, Laura received several awards
for her writing including The AWP Intro Award in Short Fiction. A New York native, she now lives in Los Angeles.

Meg Wolitzer
Meg
Wolitzer’s books include The Uncoupling, The Ten-Year Nap, The Position, and
The Wife.
A novel for young readers, The Fingertips of Duncan Dorfman, was published in 2011. Wolitzer's short
fiction has appeared in The Best American Short Stories and The Pushcart Prize.
She has taught at The University of Iowa Writer's Workshop, Columbia
University, Barnard College and Skidmore College. Wolitzer lives in New
York City with her husband, science writer Richard Panek, and their two sons.
Her next novel, The Interestings, will be published in 2013.
Tickets for the event start at $80. A
Basket Raffle and 50/50 Raffle will also be held. Proceeds will support the JLM Scholarship
Fund and Community Projects. Each year the JLM awards scholarships to high
school seniors who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism,
and one scholarship to a woman over the age of 40 who is returning to
