New Members Plant Trees

“A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.” —Greek proverb

On May 8, 2010 a group of New Members braved the weather to help plant trees in and around the Abbett Avenue Playground and surrounding streets. The members worked with the Morristown Environmental Commission and New Jersey Shade Tree Foundation. Natasha Melley spearheaded the group and even applied to have three curb trees planted in front of the Nearly New Shop. Thanks to Natasha, we are high on the list. Kudos New Members!
