On Thursday December 10, 2009, volunteers from the JLM along with local Girl Scout troop 841, from Alexander Hamilton School in Morristown, gathered to spread some holiday cheer to residents at Morris View Nursing Home. The girls made ornaments and holiday figures, sang holiday carrolls and then passed out Christmas stockings stuffers to the 16 residents in attendance. A delicious snack was shared, and then volunteers decorated one of their Christmas trees. A wonderful time was had by all! Special thanks to Katie Skilton for organizing, and her daughter Emily and friends for participating in our last DIAD of 2009! Happy Holidays to all!
